Dr. V.R. Ravi, M.S., (Orthopedic Surgeon), now is practicing at Maruthi Hospital, Trichy. He is also the Director of Mothercell Regenerative Centre Pvt. Ltd., for cell based therapy. Member of the Indian Orthopedic Association. He got his M B B S at Tanjavur Medical College, Diploma in Orthopedics & M S from Madras Medical College, Dr. MGR University. As an Orthopedic Surgeon for the past 20 years, treated polytrauma involving fractured bones, soft tissue injuries, spine injuries, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic painful tendinitis as a team at Maruthi Hospital. As a practicing orthopedic surgeon, he felt the need for regenerative therapy in conditions where successful cure is not possible. Hence for the past 5 years he and his team has evolved multiple modalities of regenerative medicine using peripheral blood for platelets rich plasma injection and stem cell therapy using autologous bone marrow aspirate taken from iliac crest of patients as well as adipose tissue derived stromal vascular fraction for tendinitis and arthritis.

Dr Sasi is not only an astute clinician but an experienced instructor too. He worked at several reputed ophthalmic institutions like Aravind Eye Care, Lotus Eye care and Vasan Eye Care hospitals as Sr.Vice-President (Medical Services) before starting his own Dr Sasi Eye Care at Salem. Currently he is the founder cum Medical Director of Dr Sasi Eye Care Hospital, Salem.
