Frequently Asked Questions

  • More oxygen, better healing—because your body deserves the best

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment where patients breathes pure oxygen in a pressurized room or chamber. This therapy enhances the body’s natural healing processes by increasing the amount of oxygen dissolved in the blood.

HBOT involves entering a hyperbaric chamber where the atmospheric pressure is higher than normal. This increased pressure allows more oxygen to be absorbed into the bloodstream, which helps repair damaged tissues, fight infecƟons, and improve overall healing.

HBOT is generally safe when administered by trained professionals. Possible side effects include ear discomfort, temporary vision changes, and, rarely, more serious complications. Your healthcare provider will assess your risks before treatment.

During a session:

1. Preparation: You’ll change into comfortable clothing, Vitals will be checked before and after the procedure.

2. Entry: You’ll enter a monoplace (single‐person) or multiplace (multiple‐person) chamber.

3. Compression: The chamber will be pressurized, and you might feel ear fullness.

4. Oxygen Breathing: You’ll breathe pure oxygen through a mask or hood.

5. Decompression: The pressure will be gradually reduced at the end of the session.

Results vary depending on the condition being treated. Some patients notice improvements after a few sessions, while others may take longer. Your provider will monitor progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
